Upon Dan’s hiring in 2004, Becky Pastner thought:

Even though Dan and I didn’t even overlap at TFN, we’ve grown as close as many of the folks I actually worked with there. During one of my 603 short-term comms/press gigs in the Aughts, he kindly invited me to a gaggle of other Austin-based comms directors and press secretaries, which I really appreciated. It’s been great meeting up with him and Ryan Valentine for lunch or drinks during my return trips to Austin over the past many years. Congrats, Dan!
